ROWAD Foundation has been organizing Talking Business events for the last four years in Sana’a with Yemeni businessman (Mohammed Basha ,Fathi Hail , Yousuf Alkuraimi ,Tareq Sabeha ,Ahmed Bazaraa ,Hussam Alsharjabi, Alwan Alshaibani , and Adnan Alharaz). On 19th November, and during GEW 2016, Rowad organized one more event of Talking Business with Ramzi Alariqi. Ramzi is the Managing Partner at Grant Thornton Yemen, which is part of the Grant Thornton global network. Grant Thornton Yemen provides a wide range of services including assurance, business advisory, due diligence, corporate finance, restructuring, and tax and legal.
Often this kind of events attracts a good number of young people who are interested in entrepreneurship, more than 76 entrepreneurs attended Talking Business event this year (with 20% females).
The event started with the friendly sessions between businessmen and entrepreneurs, they present their own companies and scope they work in order to create future opportunities.
Then , Mr.Ramzi begin the main talk by introducing his self as business man through his success story, he actually focused on several points related to his company, and what are the most important challenges which he faced in markets through project life.as well as he advised the youth who are interested in starting up their own business.
The attendees enjoyed the last part of the event which was questions from the audience to Mr.Ramzi to enrich the topic more and more.Finally, Mr. Ramzi shared the audience some tips from his experience such as:
“Start your own company as long as you have enough skills and do not forget the Continuous development.”
“At the beginning of your journey in entrepreneurship life, you can search for a good partner to compliment shortage for faster growth.”
